Enhanced Events
Easier Discovery and Engagement

We've made several updates to Events in Quickstart 2.13 to help your site visitors more easily discover and engage with your events.
Cleaner recurring event display
Previously, recurring events listed every occurrence, pushing important details far down the page. Now, visitors see only the next event date and how often it repeats. Full lists of past and future dates are still available for those who like to plan ahead.
Example: See how our weekly Arizona Sites training sessions are now displayed.
One-click Add to Calendar
Every event now includes a button that makes it easy for visitors to add events to their calendar — supporting Gmail, iCal, Outlook, and Yahoo!
Example: Try adding our next Arizona Sites office hours to your calendar.
Enhanced Trellis Events integration
We continue to improve integration with Trellis Events, making it even easier to take advantage of the university’s digital marketing stack.
Not using Trellis yet? It offers RSVP management, email invitations, and syndication across multiple websites. Reach out to the Trellis Team to schedule a discovery session.
Already using Trellis? Learn how to turn on the Trellis Events importer.
Banner image import support
If you set a banner image for your event in Trellis, it will now be imported and displayed automatically on any site that pulls in the event.
Enterprise Attribute tagging
You can now tag events (and news) using Enterprise Attributes like topic, category, modality, Arizona counties, and university departments. These tags help visitors find relevant content across university websites, CatCloud, Trellis Events, and the University Calendar.
