How to Create a Link Group
Note: An administrator must enable the "Quickstart Paragraphs - Link Group" module on your site in order for the page element to be available for use. Submit a request to have this module enabled on your website.
- Create a page or edit an existing one.
- Scroll to the bottom of the page and select Add Link Group.
- Choose one of the following styles for your Link Group:
- Inline Buttons
- Dropdown Button: If you select this, you will also need to enter a name for the dropdown. This is what will be visible before expanding the dropdown.
- List Group
- Choose a Button Color.
- Choose a Button Size
- Select the desired amount of space at the bottom of the Link Group before the next element displays under Additional Options > Bottom Spacing.
- Add a name to your link group in the Link Group Title field. This is optional.
- Next populate your links. Each link requires two pieces of information. The URL and the Link Text.
- To link to an item on your website, you can start typing the name of the page or document into the URL field and select the page from the dropdown that appears. Alternatively you can paste in a valid URL to your, or any website into the URL field.
- The Link Text field is what users will see and click on. Enter something simple yet descriptive.
- To add another link, click the Add Another Item button at the bottom.
- Repeat steps 8 and 9 until you have added all your links.
