User Expire

With the Quickstart User Expire module installed, users with the Administrator or User Administrator roles can add the Auto Expiring User role to other users whose access needs to be automatically deactivated (blocked) after a period of inactivity (30 days by default).

Enable the module

Site Administrators can:

  1. Go to Extend from the top toolbar.
  2. Search for the Quickstart User Expire module.
  3. Check the box next to the Quickstart User Expire module.
  4. Click Install at the bottom of the page to enable the module.

Note

The Quickstart User Expire module is an experimental module.

Enabling automatic expiration for existing users

Users with the Administrator or User Administrator roles

  1. Navigate to People
  2. Select the checkbox next to one or more users in the list
  3. Select "Add the Auto expiring user role" in the Action dropdown at the bottom of the list
  4. Click the Apply to selected items button

The selected users will now have their account automatically deactivated (blocked) after 30 days of inactivity.
