Importing Trellis Opportunities

Quickstart can import programs that were created on Trellis into your website as Opportunities.

Note

You must have the Content Administrator role to be able to modify Trellis Opportunity imports.

Enable the module

Site Administrators can:

  1. Go to Extend from the top toolbar.
  2. Search for the Quickstart Opportunity - Trellis Opportunity Importer module.
  3. Check the box next to the Quickstart Opportunity - Trellis Opportunity Importer module.
  4. Click Install at the bottom of the page to enable the module.

Trellis Opportunity is currently an Experimental module - Submit a request if you have any problems or feedback.

Importing Opportunities

To import an Opportunity from Trellis:

  1. Go to Manage > Content
  2. Click the Trellis opportunity importer tab
  3. Search for your content in Trellis using search terms.
  4. If content is found in the search, review and tick the boxes for the content you want to import.
  5. Select the Import button to import.
  6. Review the messages to make sure your content was imported. Some content may import as Unpublished, depending on its published status in Trellis.

Recurring Imports

Opportunities can be imported from a search automatically every 12 hours.

Enterprise Attributes

Trellis Opportunities requires the Enterprise Attributes module, which imports fields that can be used in Events, News, and Opportunities. You may see new Enterprise Attribute options show up in your Opportunity edit page.

  1. Complete the steps above to search for an opportunity.
  2. After searching, click the Create Recurring Import button.
  3. In the new popup, give your Recurring Import a name to help remember what it's importing.
  4. Double check the fields to make sure they're correct, then click Save.

  1. Navigate to /admin/config/az-quickstart/settings/az-opportunity-recurring-import-rule
    1. Click on Quickstart 2.x.x in the black bar
    2. Click Settings
    3. Click Recurring opportunity imports
  2. Click Edit next to the rule you wish to modify
    1. Here you will also have the option to enable or disable the recurring import rule
  3. Save

  1. Navigate to /admin/config/az-quickstart/settings/az-opportunity-recurring-import-rule
  2. Click the down arrow next to Edit
  3. Click Delete
  4. Click Delete on the confirmation page
